dxFeed Medved Trader

To configure the dxFeed data feed connection in the Medved Trader platform, please follow these steps:

1. Launch the Medved Trader application.

2. In the MT Dashboard window, go to File → Settings.

3. In the Settings window go to Data Sources → Configure Accounts.

4. Select dxFeed from the list of available data providers. Additionally, you can put a checkmark in the Show at Top of Selection Lists in order to conveniently locate dxFeed at all times.

5. Type in your dxFeed account Login (Username) and Password received via email upon the subscription purchase and click OK.

   Tip

   The number of days allowed by Medved Trader to be displayed in the Intraday Chart is 120. In order to receive that amount of intraday data, set the Intraday OHLC Backfill - Number of Days to 120.

   

6. In the MT Dashboard window go to Data and choose dxFeed in the Select Default Backfill Source and Select Default Historical Backfill Source menus.

   

7. In the MT Dashboard window go to Portfolios → Create a New Portfolio →  New Simple Portfolio.

8. In the Portfolio window make sure that dxFeed is selected as the Source.

9. Add symbols to your portfolio via the Add symbols button.

10. Right-click on the added symbol and open it in any other window.
